INTRODUCTION
Betsey: In each lesson of this 25 part series, you'll master a common question for Polish learners, and then learn how to answer it like a native. You'll learn how these key phrases work by breaking them down into each component. Then through repetition and new vocabulary, you'll expand your understanding of the question, its answers, and any variations.

Hi Elaine!

Thank you for your comment❤️️

"Nauczyłeś” and ‘nauczyłem" are masculine form of Polish verb "nauczyć".

Feminine form of "nauczyć" is "nauczyłam" and "nauczyłaś".

"-am" and "-aś" always end feminine verbs,

while "-em" and "-eś" are always at the end of masculine verbs.

If you have any further questions, please leave us a comment.

Thanks,

Hanna

Is this masculine or feminine form "nauczyłeś" and 'nauczyłem" ?

I remember reading there is a difference between the -as and - es ending in the past...
