Hi everyone! I'm Alisha.
Welcome to Conversational Phrases!
We've found that the best way to learn a language is to speak it from day one! And the best way to start speaking is to learn phrases that you'll use in real conversations.
In this lesson, you'll learn conversational phrases to use when apologizing to someone. After watching this video, you'll be able to apologize and say what you're apologizing for.
Now, let's take a look at some conversational phrases!
Listen to the dialogue.
Przepraszam, że się spóźniłem.
Nie przejmuj się tym.
Once more with the English translation.
Przepraszam, że się spóźniłem.
“I'm sorry for being late.”
Nie przejmuj się tym.
“Don't worry about it.”
First of all you'll need to learn how to say "I'm sorry for [reason]."
The pattern is: Przepraszam, że [reason].
This Polish sentence literally translates as "Sorry, that [reason]." But it means "I'm sorry for [reason].".

Now, how do you respond that it's okay?

"Don't worry about it."
Listen to it again: Nie przejmuj się tym., Nie przejmuj się tym.
This Polish sentence translates as "Do not worry it." But it means "Don't worry about it."
