Cultural Insight |
Eric: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight. |
Marzena: On the phone, after the person answering says Tak słucham we usually answer with Dzień dobry meaning "Good morning/good afternoon", but if it's really late it is ok to say Dobry wieczór meaning "Good evening". When you call a friend, you can say Cześć, which means "Hello" and can be also used as "bye" at the end of the conversation. |

Lubie moj Polska diewczyna, Magdalena! 😄
Dzien dobry! I'm Greek and I live in Athens so my computer doesn't allow me to use Polish characters, those strange ''e'' and ''a'' with the commas underneath, the ''n'' with the accent on top and so on! I'm working on it, though! Great site, guys! I'm utterly satisfied.
