Cultural Insight
Eric: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight.
Marzena: If you want to intensify the adjective, you can use bardzo, "very." For example, you can say bardzo zmęczony, "very tired" - if you are a man, or bardzo ładna, "very beautiful"—about a woman. Note that the category of adjectives in Polish doesn't have to overlap with other languages. For example, nationalities in Polish are nouns.

Eric: And that’s all for this lesson. Don’t forget to check out the lesson notes, and we’ll see you in the next lesson!
