Eric: Here's the way to say 'Can I get the menu?' in Polish.

Eric: First is a word meaning 'whether'

Eric: Next is the word meaning 'I can'

Eric: Now it's time for a quick cultural insight.
Marzena: At most coffee shops, there are no staff walking around taking your order, so you need to order your coffee at the counter. If you go to a restaurant or a beer garden, you have to call for the waiter. Attract their attention by simply saying przepraszam!

Proszę and poproszę have almost the same meaning, but poproszę is only used when you want ot get something from someone.Very useful at shops, restaurants etc.

Proszę can be used when you ask for something or give something to someone.
