Hi Steve,

You always can do a handshake. It is common for both situations, formal and casual. Actually, doing a handshake is very good habit. If your friends prefer different kind of greeting, they will surely let you know! For non-friends people a handshake is the most basic and common greeting.

Should you have any questions, please let us know.

Sincerely,

Hanna

Cześć!

Cultural question. So, hugging is not uncommon but it's advised to not do a handshake? Is it preferred to kiss on both cheeks? Basically, what is the preferred greeting in public places for both friends and non-friends?

Dziękuję bardzo!

Steve

Cześć Anirudh,

Kiedy planujesz przyjechać do Warszawy?

"I am multilingual" dosłownie po polsku to "Jestem wielojęzyczny/wielojęzyczna". Niemniej jest to rzadko spotykana forma. Bardziej naturalnie brzmi "Mówię wieloma językami" bądź "Znam wiele języków".

I hope it helps!

Pozdrowienia,

Hanna
